Suggestions sought on National Education Policy and on Muslim Education in India

Dear Brothers in Islam,
Asslamu Alaikum

Hope that you are making best use of Ramadhan for your Tazkia and guiding/helping others also. Kindly make Dua for each one of us.

As you know PM of India has spoken recently on Muslim Education in a gathering of diplomats from 25 Muslim Countries and some Muslim personalities on 15th June. (My assessment can be read here:

1.      As PM has made a promise to look into all proposals ‘sincerely’, I personally feel that it is time when all those who are engaged in promotion of Education should take it individually and collectively to ponder over the impediments in Muslim Education and pin point crucial, practical, positive suggestions to resolve the issues.

2.      We must also look into proposals embedded in “Draft National Education Policy” and enumerate our proposals for betterment of National Education Scenario. We are no lesser Indians and must actively participate in drafting our National Education Policy which will effect whole nation irrespective of our special interests.

Here are some links regarding Education Policy for you ready reference. It will be great if we all make a collective effort at this moment and prepare an intellectually prudent draft to Government of India through Prime Minister.

Even if you think otherwise, I will feel emboldened if you kindly write a few lines.
