Moroccan researcher completes training under AMU Professor


Aligarh, January 5: Ms Ait Sidi Brahim Ma Moroccan researcher completes training under AMU Professor lika, a Moroccan researcher and CV Raman International Fellow has completed her six-month training in the Department of Agricultural Microbiology, Aligarh Muslim University under the supervision of Professor Iqbal Ahmad, Officiating Chairman of the department.

Ms Malika received the elite fellowship awarded by DST, New Delhi in collaboration with FICCI, India. She has expressed her gratitude to the AMU administration for allowing her to get training under Prof Ahmad. Ms Malika has completed her research work on Moroccan medicinal plants.

Prof Ahmad, who supervised training to Ms Malika, is well known for his expertise in natural products’ research. While congratulating Ms Malika and her guides, Dean, Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, Prof Javed Masarrat said that such academic exchange programmes and activities, which benefit the students to learn new dimensions in their fields of research, should be encouraged.
